Livelihood Support: Exploring Food Security

A pilot to support resource-poor families is underway in the state of Mizoram. Understanding the high demand for broiler chicken meat in the community and to sustain livelihoods, DCI supplied 100 broiler chicks including feed to impoverished families living in displaced conditions. Raised well, the chicks shall grow to provide eggs and meat for both food and income to families.

Integrated Livelihood Project: Baseline Survey Report
